Speech therapy for kids and teens
Confident communication doesn’t always come easily, and that’s okay. At Interact Speech Pathology, we help children build the skills to feel seen, understood and connected – from home to learning, and learning to life.
Through evidence-informed, play-based and interactive therapy, we can help your child unlock the confidence to interact with their world, one step at a time.
When communication feels hard
If your child finds it challenging to understand language, explain what they mean, follow conversations, or gets frustrated when they don’t get their message across, our experienced team can help.
As skilled therapists, we provide support for:
- Speech sounds & articulation: clarity and accuracy of sounds
- Language understanding and expression: following instructions, use sentences that make sense
- Social communication: turn-taking, joining in, having two-way conversations, reading social cues, tuning into feelings
- Fluency (stuttering): ease and flow of speech
- Literacy foundations: early reading, spelling and phonological skills
Not sure where to begin?
From curious toddlers to growing teens, we help families make sense of their child’s communication strengths and discover the best way forward.
Because every child is different, we like to start with an assessment – building a full picture of what comes easily, what’s more challenging, and what you hope to achieve.
We offer:
- Pragmatic/social language assessments to inform autism assessments and support diagnosis
- Academic language assessments, including CELF-5 and CELF Preschool-3
- Articulation assessments
- Literacy screeners
- Fluency assessments
From there, we plan supports together so that friends, family and educators can work toward a shared goal.
